VDI LabOS becomes the laboratory bridge inside an owner-approved pet care network.

VDI LabOS is designed to be network-compatible. Under a signed partnership, VDI becomes a verified diagnostic institution. Each owner-approved laboratory relationship can become part of the pet’s private care graph. Minimum approved case events may update the Passport so the owner, veterinarian, laboratory and other approved providers remain connected around the pet.

Owns the reusable LabOS platform, governed workflow and integration framework, builds the VDI deployment, and remains responsible for implementation quality. WHL does not assume laboratory or veterinary authority.

Retains methods, quality, specimen acceptance, laboratory data, proprietary algorithms, interpretation, report release and internal operational records.

Maintains pet identity, owner permissions, care navigation and provider relationships. It receives only the minimum information approved for the particular owner-facing purpose. It never edits raw results, overrides QC, approves interpretation or releases reports.

Only minimum approved continuity events, such as case initiated, specimen received, testing in progress, report available through the veterinarian, a veterinarian-approved summary, an approved monitoring date or an authorized report link.

Smoochie Pooch has not agreed to participate. WHL built the pitch, operating concept, specifications and synthetic demonstrations for a proposed multi-location partnership covering loyalty, rewards, earlier-opening recovery, Pet Passport enrollment, visit history, owner-controlled Care Handoff and objective non-diagnostic Care Signals.

A participating Smoochie location could recommend a verified participating veterinarian or collection clinic and identify VDI as a preferred specialty laboratory for agreed test categories. A groomer may document only a factual observation selected by the owner for sharing. The veterinarian evaluates the pet and determines whether testing is appropriate.

The owner controls sharing and relationships. The veterinarian controls clinical evaluation and testing decisions. VDI controls laboratory processing, methods, review and report release. Smoochie or another groomer may observe and recommend a network provider but cannot diagnose or order testing. Pets Plug coordinates identity, permissions and continuity. WHL builds the governed software architecture.
